Did you know that you can volunteer for the the City of Chicago Department of Law?  The way to apply is to find the Law Department’s page on the City’s website, www.cityofchicago.org.  It’s under Chicago Government (in the amber bar).  Then find Department Directory, and scroll down to Law.  This page will take you to careers, and then the Department of Law Volunteer Program.  This offers you a step-by-step guide on how to volunteer, which you should follow to the letter. When you apply, specify which Law Department divisions interest you.

Law Career Services does not receive any updates from Campus Connect so the information we have is all based on the information you provide. Please email any changes as soon as possible as Law Career Services send out job opportunities and OCI information specific to class years.

Let's go back to how most people search, because that's where the problem - or problems - are. Your cover letter neglects to tie you to the ad and your resume fails to entice. Or perhaps your cover letter sells and your resume is full of accomplishments, but you’re answering unrealistic ads. Or perhaps you’re targeting ads wisely, but being overly picky, forgetting that ads tell if you want to interview, not if you want to work there.
