Know thy law school. . .

DePaul is a big law school, with lots of offerings, and there are simply not enough hours in the day to take advantage of all of them. However, as you are networking and conducting your job search, you need to make sure you know the basics of what is going on. Why? Imagine an interview with a super proud alum who knows that DePaul has been named one of the ten "most innovative law schools" by preLaw magazine and asks you in what ways you've experienced this. Not only researching the employer and interviewers is important, but also knowing why you've chosen some law school experiences over others will make you a more mature candidate. Knowing the points of pride will also make you a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable candidate. So use that Westlaw and LexisNexis password to find out how DePaul has made the news lately as well as checking out the News portion of the DePaul College of Law website.
